Dave Peterson has key experience as a developer, owner and operator of Hotels. He has a ground-up knowledge of hotel operations and has successfully steered every phase of hotel development, from pre-feasibility and construction to the opening of new properties and stabilized profitable operations.


He has expertise in all facets of hotel operations, overseeing both full service and select service hotels. This includes budget development, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, property visits, audits, the development of quarterly action plans, development and evaluation of hotel revenue strategies, the formulation of management practices and selling tactics to help hotels surpass market share goals and exceed revenue objectives.

Charles E. Sutherland, SEC, is a commercial real estate investor and developer based in Dallas, Texas for over 39 years.  His skills include negotiating acquisitions and mergers, financing, development of single and multi-family residential, commercial, retail, industrial, hospitality and mini-storage projects.  As an investor, developer or consultant, Mr. Sutherland has participated in the completion of over $200 million in real estate transactions.

 

Since 1995, Mr. Sutherland has been a member of the Society of Exchange Counselors (www.secounselors.com), a private association of brokers, investors and developers.  Invitation-only membership in the Society is based on a proven record of integrity, competence and creative real estate transaction ability.  Several times a year, he also teaches a course entitled “Creative Real Estate Formulas” for local real estate organizations throughout the nation.

Matthew Peterson knows exactly what it takes to keep a hotel operating successfully – marketing.

He has sales, marketing experience and training with both Marriott and Hilton Hotels. He has built relationships with fortune 500 companies such as Verizon, Hewlett Packard, AT&T, Microsoft, Boeing, T-Mobile, Verizon and Costco. He develops rate strategies and works with the hotel team to maximize opportunities while building relationships with customers which support the overall success of each hotel. He oversees all sales activity and is accountable for meeting or exceeding hotel annual revenue goals.
